Tour description

An hour walking in the forest with an experienced guide will take you to the shore of the Tacana River. in a Yucuna community. There, you will enter the Maloka. the traditional house where the abuelo (grandfather). keeper of all the traditions and knowledge of his ethnic group. is located.

The Yucuna people handle sacred plants such as tobacco and coca. and their processes transformation into таре
of and mambe. In which you can participate (from the collection of coca leaves to the tasting of your product). After a traditional lunch prepared by the grandmother, you will be introduced to painting. traditional songs and dances as they are still practiced today during their annual celebrations such as the dance of the chontaduro.

We live in a time of many changes in which traditional knowledge is in danger of being forgotten, and few people today have such a complete knowledge as that of the abuelo. This tour is a unique opportunity to share with the shaman and learn first hand about the Yucuna culture. The night tour adds a touch of adventure and the jungle might give you a last encounter with some animals.
