Whether it’s the sun, the rain, or the mosquitoes, the Amazon is an environment that requires a bit of preparation to be enjoyed fully. At La Jangada, we benefit from many years of experience to help you get the best out of your tour in optimal conditions. This list is indicative, but contains all the elements that will allow you to feel comfortable in all types of weather. In the city of Leticia, there are many stores where you can buy everything you need or have forgotten to bring.

From the first minute of the tour until you return. we include all the services to make your experience totally smooth.

PRACTICAL ADVICES (WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING)

Comfortable backpack. If you are going on a trekking tour, it is better that it has a good back support. Don't forget to leave room for your sleeping kit.

Lock at the hostel we have lockers where you can leave your luggage that you do not want to take with you. It is advisable to leave all your valuables there, including your passport, so that it does not get damaged during the tour.

Adequate clothing

Long, loose-fitting pants; avoid black Leggings are strongly discouraged.

Socks: one pair per day minimum. high enough not to slip in the boots

Swimsuit

Flip-flops, so that you can take off your boots when you take a break. You can wear tennis shoes if you want but we do not consider it necessary.
