Jangada Tours is a family owned tour operator known for its personalized jungle excursions. The warmth and authenticity of its staff is due to the fact that the owners are from two indigenous Amazonian communities, Yucuna and Ticuna. They will allow you to discover the amazing jungle and its indigenous culture without masks. We have more than a decade of experience with experienced guides, who will help you explore the Amazon, the diversity of its landscapes, its lush vegetation, the richness of its fauna and, of course, understand its people.
Our business philosophy seeks to contribute to the growth of ecotourism in the region with criteria of sustainability, fair treatment and causing the least environmental and cultural impact. For this reason, we distribute the tourism operation in different communities, allowing local providers to continue developing activities such as fishing or traditionnal agriculture, and preventing tourism from replacing traditional spaces.
We involve young people, women and wise elders, we employ a network of people ranging from river and land transportation. local guides. family restaurants, to local food suppliers.
